Lash Extension Policies

At The Beauty Nest, my goal is to provide beautiful, long-lasting lash extensions while maintaining the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and quality. Please review the following policies before booking your appointment.

Before Your Appointment

Please arrive with completely clean lashes, free of makeup, mascara, eyeliner, oils, and adhesive residue.
Remove any eye makeup/contact lenses
Do not wear waterproof/resistant mascara or liquid eyeliner for at least 48hrs prior your appointment
Do not tint, perm or curl lashes with a clamp curler at least 48hrs prior your appointment
Do not use oil near eye area, inc: oily make-up remover, cleansers, eye cream, sunscreen, etc, near your lases for at least 24 hours prior your appointment
Clients arriving with buildup or dirty lashes will be charged a $5 Lash Cleansing Fee. Clean lashes are essential for proper adhesion and the best possible retention.
Poor retention caused by dirty lashes, makeup buildup, excessive oils, or improper lash preparation is not the responsibility of the lash artist.

Please advise if you have: Eye infection, conjunctivitis, sore/swollen eyes, recent laser surgery, etc

Appointment Time

Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Clients arriving 10 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled or rescheduled to avoid affecting the next scheduled client.
Your deposit may be forfeited if your appointment is cancelled due to lateness.

Lash Retention & Touch-Up Policy

Lash retention varies from person to person and is influenced by natural lash cycles, aftercare, skin type, medications, hormones, lifestyle, sleeping habits, and proper cleansing.
If you experience excessive lash loss within 48 hours of your appointment and have followed all aftercare instructions, please contact me immediately with clear photos.
A complimentary touch-up may be provided within 48 hours at my discretion.
After the 48-hour period, this guarantee expires, and any additional appointments will be charged at the regular fill price.

Fill Appointments

Lash fills are recommended every 2–3 weeks to maintain a full look.
Appointments booked more than 3 weeks after your previous lash appointment will be charged as a Full New Set, as there is typically insufficient lash coverage remaining for a fill.

No-Shows & Cancellations

Clients who fail to attend their appointment without notice (No-Show) will be required to prepay 100% of all future appointments before any booking can be confirmed.
Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

Foreign Fills

I reserve the right to decline fills completed by another lash artist.
If accepted, additional time and charges may apply depending on the condition of the existing lashes.

Children & Guests

For safety and to ensure a relaxing experience, please attend your appointment alone unless prior arrangements have been made.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of lash extension services, refunds are not provided.
If there is a concern with your lashes, please contact me within 48 hours so I can assess the situation and determine an appropriate solution.

After Your Eyelash Extension

Keep lashes dry and away from heat and steam for 24/48 hours
Use oil free make-up remover, cleansers, face/eye creams, etc
Do not perm or curl extensions with a clamp curler (Heated eyelash curlers are safe to use)
Do not use waterproof/water resistant mascara or liquid eyeliner
Avoid rubbing, pulling, sleeping on, touching and brushing your extensions
Do not rub your face with a towel, instead gently blot and allow lashes to dry naturally
Do not attempt to blow dry your lashes
Mineral make-up, sea water, tears, excess sweating, oily skin, sunscreens, etc, can also affect the bond, so try to avoid or use extra care with these where possible
