Brow Lamination & Tint
$65
Brow lamination is a semi-permanent beauty treatment that straightens and sets eyebrow hairs to create a fuller, more defined look. It's often referred to as an "eyebrow perm". The process involves applying a solution to the brow hairs to temporarily relax and redirect them upward, creating a sleek, brushed-up appearance. The results can last for several weeks, reducing the need for daily brow makeup or gel.

-
Straightening and setting: A special solution is applied to the brow hairs to straighten and set them in place.
-
Fuller, defined look: The straightened and set hairs create the illusion of thicker, more defined brows, especially in areas where hairs are thin or sparse.
-
Lasts for weeks: The results can last for 4-6 weeks, or even longer with proper care.
-
Optional tinting: Brow tinting can be added to the lamination process to enhance the colour and definition of the brows.
-
Benefits: Brow lamination can be beneficial for those with thin, unruly, or sparse eyebrows, or for those who want to reduce the time spent on daily brow makeup.
-
Similar to a perm: Brow lamination works by chemically rearranging the brow hairs, similar to how a hair perm works.
Eyebrow Lamination in Calgary
Want full, sleek, brushed-up brows that look styled the moment you wake up? Eyebrow lamination at The Beauty Nest in Seton, SE Calgary, relaxes and resets your brow hairs so they sit in a neat, upward direction. The result is a fuller, more defined brow with no daily gel or brow makeup needed.
What Is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment that straightens and sets your brow hairs to create a fuller, sleeker, brushed-up look. A solution relaxes the hairs so they can be redirected upward, then they are set in their new position. It is often called an eyebrow perm, because it rearranges the hairs in a similar way to a hair perm, but the result is a sleek, brushed-up brow rather than a curl.
How Brow Lamination Works
Each brow hair grows in its own direction. Lamination relaxes those hairs, brushes them all into one direction and sets them there. Because every hair now sits flat and upward, the brow covers more area and looks thicker and more even, even though no new hair has been added.
Who Is Brow Lamination For?
Brow lamination is a great fit if you have thin or sparse brows, unruly brows that grow in different directions, straight or flat-growing brows, or hair that has grown in unevenly. It is also a good choice if you love a fluffy, brushed-up brow, or you want to spend less time on brow makeup each morning.
Benefits of Brow Lamination
-
Fuller-looking brows. Hairs are lifted and set to cover more of the brow area.
-
Neat and groomed. Stray and unruly hairs stay in place.
-
Less daily makeup. A set shape means less gel, pencil or powder.
-
Lasts for weeks. Results typically last 4 to 6 weeks, and sometimes longer with good aftercare.
-
A soft, natural finish. Your own hairs, brushed into a sleek style.
What Is Included in Your Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination at The Beauty Nest includes an optional brow tint and brow shaping, so you leave with a clean, defined, polished brow. Adding the tint deepens the colour of your hairs and makes the lifted shape look even fuller.
What to Expect at Your Brow Lamination Appointment
-
Consultation. We look at your brow growth and talk about the look you want.
-
Lifting. A solution is applied to relax your brow hairs, and they are brushed upward into position.
-
Setting. A second step sets the hairs in their new direction.
-
Tint (optional). A tint adds colour and definition.
-
Shaping. Your brows are shaped for a clean finish.
How Long Should My Brow Hair Be for Lamination?
Lamination works best when your brow hairs have some length, so they can be brushed and set into position. If your brows are very short or freshly plucked, let them grow for a couple of weeks before booking. Not sure? Send us a photo and we will let you know.
Brow Lamination Aftercare
-
Keep your brows completely dry for the first 24 hours.
-
Avoid rubbing, picking or applying heavy products to the brows.
-
After the first day, brush your brows upward each morning with a clean spoolie.
-
Use an oil-free brow gel if you want extra hold.
-
Be gentle when washing your face, and pat the brow area dry.
We will go over full aftercare with you at your appointment.
How Often Should You Get Brow Lamination?
The effect softens as your hairs grow and shed, usually around 4 to 6 weeks. Many clients rebook every 6 to 8 weeks. Because lamination is a chemical treatment, we do not recommend repeating it too often. We will advise you based on your hair.
Brow Lamination vs Brow Tint
Brow lamination changes the direction of your hairs, while a brow tint changes the colour. They work beautifully together, which is why a tint is offered with lamination. To learn more about colour, see our eyebrow tinting page.
