How much does eyebrow shaping cost in Calgary?
Eyebrow shaping at The Beauty Nest in Seton costs $21. It includes a brow assessment, your choice of wax, thread or tweeze, a symmetry check and aftercare advice. Eyebrow mapping is $28 and a brow tint is $18.
Where can I get eyebrow threading in Calgary?
You can get eyebrow threading at The Beauty Nest, my licensed home-based studio in Seton Ridge, SE Calgary. Threading is one of the options included in every $21 eyebrow shaping appointment, alongside waxing and tweezing. I welcome clients from Mahogany, Auburn Bay, Cranston, McKenzie Towne, Okotoks and nearby communities.
How does brow tinting work?
Brow tinting works by applying a semi-permanent dye to your brow hairs to add colour, depth and definition. I start with a brow assessment and a skin sensitivity check, then choose a custom shade to suit your natural colouring. The tint is left on briefly, removed, and finished with aftercare advice. A brow tint is $18.
Should I choose threading or waxing for my brows?
Both give a clean shape, so the best choice depends on your skin and hair. Threading removes hair in fine lines and is very precise, which suits sensitive skin and small touch-ups. Waxing is quicker and works well for fuller areas. I can recommend one at your appointment, and tweezing is available too.
What is the difference between brow lamination and a brow tint?
Lamination changes the direction and shape of your brow hairs, while a tint changes their colour. Brow lamination ($65 plus GST) sets the hairs in a fuller, brushed-up style, and tint can be added to darken them. A tint on its own ($18) adds colour and definition without changing how the hairs sit.
What is eyebrow mapping?
Eyebrow mapping is a consultation that measures your face to plan the ideal brow shape before any hair is removed. For $28, I assess your symmetry and natural growth, then shape your brows with your choice of wax, thread or tweeze.
Do you offer eyebrow services for kids and teens?
Yes. My Little Brows service is $18 and includes a brow assessment and a natural-looking finish. A parent or guardian must give consent.
